Day 1 - Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park
Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi or Mombasa by road. Upon arrival at the sanctuary by midday, you'll check in at the Salt Lick Safari Lodge, a unique lodge built on stilts that offers uninterrupted views of a waterhole frequented by elephants, buffalo, antelopes, and more. After a warm welcome and lunch, enjoy your first afternoon game drive through the sanctuary, where you may spot lions, zebras, giraffes, and an array of bird life. You'll return to the lodge in the evening for a hearty dinner, and later, an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2 - Full Day Game Drives
Day two begins with a refreshing early morning game drive as the sun rises over the savannah. After breakfast, you may opt to explore the nearby Taita Hills Museum and World War I battlefields for a dose of history and culture. Alternatively, you'll relax at the lodge and enjoy close-up wildlife viewing from the comfort of the observation deck. After lunch, you will explore a half-day excursion to Tsavo West National Park, where the highlights include Mzima Springs, a lush oasis with hippos and crocodiles, and the dramatic Shetani Lava Flow. You'll return to the lodge by evening for dinner and your final night immersed in the wild.

Day 3 - Tsavo West to Watamu
On the third and final day, you will enjoy breakfast while watching animals gather at the waterhole one last time. You may choose a short early morning game drive before checking out. You'll depart from the sanctuary mid-morning. Exit the park and drive to Watamu, where our guide will drop you off at your desired hotel of choice.
