Pick up from Nairobi hotel/airport and after a short briefing from one of our representatives, drive north of Nairobi passing through the equator and and the majestic Mount Kenya enroute to the open savanna of Samburu National Reserve. On this day, you will have your breakfast on your rooms viewing deck so that you can experience the sunrise, beautiful landscapes and tranquil ambiences. Check out of the hotel at around 1000hrs for a 2 hour drive to Olpejeta arriving in time for lunch at Serena Sweetawaters camp. After lunch, enjoy a game drive in Olpejeta Conservancy which never runs out of wildlife and effortless landscapes. Olpejeta is also home to the big five, so expect to sight lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards and both white and black rhinos. Olpejeta is home to the only two white rhinos in the world. Later in the evening head back to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Early morning after breakfast check out of Serena Sweetwaters camp and have a game drive in the conservancy which hosts over 140 endangered black rhinos, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes and impalas, before exiting the park for Nakuru which is a 4 hour drive. Along the scenic routes, make a stop at Nyahuru falls for a photography session as well as a bathroom break. Thereafter proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park which is well known for it’s abundant wildlife, bushy grassland and the pink flamingos and pelicans which inhabit the shores of the lake. Check in at your preferred lodge for lunch and refreshments before embarking on an afternoon game drive in search of zebras, buffaloes, rhinos, waterbucks and hundreds of bird species hence the name birdwatchers paradise. After an amazing game drive, head back to your prefrred lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Early morning breakfast then check out of the camp/lodge with a short game drive enroute to Maasai Mara National Reserve. The drive should be about 5 hours from Nakuru. Make a stop at narok, where you will have your lunch and some shopping before entering the Mara with a game drive till evening. Drive to your camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Masai Mara is ranked as one of the best parks in the world and on this day you are going to explore why. Early in the morning after breakfast leave the camp/lodge with packed lunch and spend the whole day in the park as you get re introduced to the big five, wildebeests, impalas, giraffes, dikdiks, antellopes, hyenas and not forgetting the exquisite morning weather. The mara also has a lot to offer apart from the wildlife. The plains stretch upto 1510km2 with over 450 bird species, over 50 mammal species, grasslands, woodlands, thickets, forests, acacias and scrubs. The game drive lasts till sunset after which you will drive back to your camp/lodge for an overnight stay.

Early morning after breakfast, head out for a game drive which allows you to spot any wildlife that you might have missed in the previous drives. Later on after lunch, have a cultural visit to the masai communities to interact with the locals as you experience their lives first hand inside their houses also known as Manyattas. The Manyattas are made from mud, human urine, sticks, cowdung and grass and are one of the most beautiful formations in the Mara. Get to enjoy a dance, their local wear and maybe learn how to light a fire by rubbing two sticks together. After this thrilling experience, the guide will drive you back to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
On this last day, after breakfast check out of the camp/lodge with packed lunch and enjoy one last game drive which should last about 3 hours before exiting the Mara back to Nairobi. For our clients who have evening flights, we recommend dinner at carnivore restaurant before dropping you off at the airport or respective hotels.
