8 Days, 7 Nights Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara package - starting from Mombasa

Day 1 : Mombasa to Tsavo East

You will be picked up from the hotel or Moi International Airport early in the morning and drive to Tsavo East National Park through Bachuma gate. Tsavo East is Kenya’s largest National Park and is known for its wonderful diversity of life. Upon entry, proceed with a game drive visiting the Aruba dam en route to your camp or lodge of choice.  Check-in, have lunch and enjoy the property amenities as you await your first game drive of the day.  Our professional guide will pick up after lunch and refreshments and go for an afternoon drive in search of red elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, lions and so many more. Later, head back to your camp/lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 : Tsavo East to Tsavo West

In the morning after breakfast, check out of your camp and have a morning game drive as you exit the park to Tsavo West National Park. Enjoy a game-viewing drive as you head to your camp/lodge. Check in have lunch and after slight relaxation, head out for an intensive game drive in the park. Tsavo West National Park offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and the resident wildlife include elephants, hippos, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, diverse plants and hundreds of bird species. After a thrilling game drive, head back to your preferred lodge/camp for an overnight stay and dinner.

Day 3 : Tsavo West to Amboseli

After breakfast, check out of the camp/lodge of your choice and drive to Mzima Springs where you can see crocodiles and other aquatic animals in crystalline clear water from the underwater observation tank. Afterwards, drive to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch. Check in at your preferred camp/lodge have lunch and prepare to have your afternoon game drive. Amboseli National Park lies on the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro and it offers the best scenic background for photography. Elephants, lions, cheetahs and different bird species can be seen in the swamp area and open plains. Dinner and overnight will be at your preferred camp/lodge.

Day 4 : Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

Early in the morning after breakfast have a short game en-route as you leave Amboseli for Lake Naivasha which is a 5-hour drive. There will be a stop to view the great Rift Valley scenery as you proceed to Naivasha. Your estimated time of arrival should be for lunch, check in at your hotel/camp/lodge of choice and have lunch, later in the afternoon proceed to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride and a walk in the crescent island. We can also organize a visit to Hells Gate National Park which allows Hiking, Bicycling rides, Rock climbing and photography of wildlife and a visit to the geothermal power plant. Later dinner and overnight at the hotel/camp/lodge of your choice.

Day 5 : Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara

Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave Lake Naivasha for Maasai Mara, a 5 hr drive arriving in time for lunch. Check in at your preferred lodge/camp and have lunch. Afternoon game drives through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, and Buffalo just to mention a few. Later dinner and overnight at the same lodge/camp.

Day 6 : Maasai Mara Full day

Early morning game drive and return to camp for breakfast. After breakfast spend the whole day in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season which begins in early July and ends in September. The zebras, impalas, topi, giraffes, Thomson’s gazelles are regularly seen as well as the leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhinos are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as well as very large Nile crocodiles, who lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures. Later Meals and overnight at the camp/lodge of your choice.

Day 7 : Maasai Mara Full day

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will leave the camp with packed lunch i.e. food in take-away boxes and spend the day in the park as well. Optional side note: We have the cultural visit which is a visit to the Masai community within the park, this visit includes interaction with the local community, learning about the Masai culture, customs, norms and also get to experience their cultural dance. Also note that is done at an extra fee. After an amazing full-day game drive, head back to your camp/lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 8 : Maasai Mara to Nairobi

Early Morning breakfast at your camp, check out of the camp and park and drive back to Nairobi, on the way make a quick stop for lunch and afterwards drop off at your respective hotel or Airport.
