3 Days, 2 Nights Samburu National Reserve Safari

Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu

Pick up from Nairobi hotel/airport and after a short briefing from one of our representatives, drive north of Nairobi passing through the equator and and the majestic Mount Kenya enroute to the open savanna of Samburu National Reserve. Your estimated time of arrival should be for lunch, check in at your preffered lodge/camp, have lunch and refreshments and after a while head out for an evening game drive. The highlights of Samburu national reserve are spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests. After a thrilling game drive, drive back to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Samburu Full Day

Early in the morning, enjoy a nice game drive in search of wild cats as they return from their nocturnal hunt, before heading back to your camp/lodge for a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, leave the camp/lodge for another game drive in search of pey and predators. Samburu national reserve is well known for it’s resident wildlife also known as the special five which include the reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, gerenuk, somali ostrich and the grevy’s zebra. After an amazing game drive, return back to your camp/lodge for lunch and refreshments. Later in the evening at around 1600hrs embark on an evening game drive till sunset before returning to your preffered camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Samburu - Nairobi

Very early in the morning head out for a gamedrive before heading back to your camp/lodge for a proper English breakfast. Afterwards check out of the camp/lodge and drive back to Nairobi arriving before sunset. Drop off at your preferred hotel/airport.
