Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel/airport, and after a short briefing from one of our representatives, drive north of Nairobi, passing through the equator and the majestic Mount Kenya en route to the open savannah of Samburu National Reserve. Your estimated time of arrival should be for lunch. Check in at Sarova Shaba Lodge, have lunch and refreshments, and after a while, head out for an afternoon game drive. The highlights of Samburu National Reserve are the special five, spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests. After a thrilling game drive, drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve Full Day
Early in the morning, enjoy a nice game drive in search of wild cats as they return from their nocturnal hunt, before heading back to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, leave the lodge for another game drive in search of prey and predators. Samburu National Reserve is well known for its resident wildlife, also known as the special five, which include the reticulated giraffe, beisa oryx, gerenuk, somali ostrich and the grevy’s zebra. After an amazing game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and refreshments. Later in the afternoon, at around 1600hrs, embark on another game drive till sunset before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Samburu back to Nairobi
Very early in the morning, enjoy a hearty English breakfast and prepare to check out of the lodge. Enjoy a brief game drive enroute as you head to the main gate and exit the park. Begin your drive back to Nairobi with a short stopover for lunch and later drop off at the airport or a hotel of your choice within the city.
